I'm a hands-on engineering leader who's spent nearly two decades at the intersection of building software and building teams. I've led orgs from 3 to 40 engineers, shipped MVPs to production in under a month, and established delivery processes that let teams operate without bottlenecks or bus factors.

I'm not the kind of leader who stops writing code. I still refactor core modules, evaluate testing frameworks, and introduce tooling — like bringing AI-assisted development workflows to my teams. But my real impact is in translating business goals into engineering execution: architecture decisions, hiring, process design, and getting products to market.

I've done this across industries — crypto wallets, streaming platforms, travel marketplaces, and e-commerce — always in cross-cultural, distributed environments.

Currently open to Head of Engineering, VP of Engineering, or CTO roles preferably at product companies and startups where engineering leadership is a competitive advantage.

Senior Software Engineer

Owned the most critical flows in a crypto wallet app and introduced AI-driven development to the team.

One of two leading technical contributors on a crypto wallet for a major media platform. Fully refactored the send and swap modules twice across product versions, reducing dependencies and improving UX. Evaluated and selected Maestro for E2E testing, including implementing Passkey authentication flow testing. Introduced Claude Code as the team's primary AI-assisted development tool, driving measurable delivery gains.

2022 — 2025

React Native Team Lead

Built a self-sufficient team that ships without me — and shaped the product architecture end to end.

Led a 5-person team building a high-performance mobile app on iOS and Android. Established delivery processes that eliminated bus factors and grew team maturity to near-full autonomy. Shaped product architecture including backend systems and CI/CD. Also performed Engineering Manager duties: performance reviews, engineering practices, company values, and pre-sales consulting.

2021 — 2022

Frontend Development Lead

Took a product from zero to production in 1 month, then optimized unit economics in 3.

Led a 3-person team to deliver a fully functional MVP within one month using Lean development principles. Post-launch, implemented rigorous A/B testing that dialed in the product's unit economics within three months. Mentored freelance developers for seamless integration.

2020 — 2021

Software Engineer

Bizy
Took over mobile development solo, launched the app, and built a cross-platform design system.

Full ownership of the React Native mobile app from mid-development to successful launch. Created a comprehensive design system in collaboration with an external UX team, ensuring consistency across web and mobile. Shared business logic and theming across platforms.

Earlier career (2006–2020): Development Team Lead at Be.Live (real-time multi-participant streaming with WebRTC), Senior Dev → Tech Lead → Solutions Lead at Thomas Cook (three promotions in three years, shaped multi-market travel platform frontend architecture), Development Team Lead at Astound Commerce (managed teams up to 20 engineers, built e-commerce reference applications), JavaScript Tech Lead at SmartBear Software, Demandware Developer at R3 Systems Group, and systems engineering at PortaOne and PrivatBank.
